The Classic FM Takeover: Esther Abrami

Violinist and TikTok classical music sensation Esther Abrami spotlights music from some of the trailblazing female musicians who inspired her as a student, such as Hilary Hahn and Midori.   Abrami’s takeover features tracks by fellow online sensation, cellist Raphaela Gromes, and composer Chloe Flower, who became a viral hit after performing on stage at the Grammys with Cardi B.   There’s also music by female composers from the past who are gaining new fans still today, including Clara Schumann, Fanny Mendelssohn and Amy Beach.
