SNF | Beto saves Everton as Fulham fail to make dominance count | Redknapp: 'Draw keeps unbeaten run going and could be vital for Everton'
Kelly Cates is joined by Jamie Redknapp and former Everton striker Louis Saha on Saturday Night Football, and they watched the Toffee’s rescue a point against Fulham with a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser from substitute Beto. The draw means Everton’s unbeaten run extends to five games and Redknapp believes the point keeps their momentum going and could be vital at the end of the season.Michael Keane and super-sub Beto give their reaction to Juliette Ferrington, and the Portuguese forward revealed it was an emotional moment for him to score after having a difficult period recently. Marco Silva also gives his post-match thoughts and felt the result was unfair on his players after the performance they produced. Sean Dyche said that despite being pleased with securing a point, the team’s display was not close to the level he expects and demands.

Kelly Cates presents Friday Night Football from the King Power stadium alongside Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher, who react to Nottingham Forest’s 3-1 win against Leicester City, which sees them climb to fifth in the Premier League. Carra described Callum Hudson-Odoi’s performance as ‘outstanding’ and thinks the winger may now be showing the talent he has. Chris Wood continued his fine goalscoring form this season by netting a double against his former club and gave his reaction after the match, saying he wouldn’t be anything without his teammates.Ryan Yates was also on the scoresheet for the visitors and reflected on the win, along with Leicester’s Harry Winks, who assisted Jamie Vardy’s equaliser in the first half. There are also the views of a delighted Nuno Espirito Santo, who praised his players for their commitment, while Steve Cooper felt the Foxes ‘poor mistakes’ were self-inflicted and ultimately punished by the opposition.

Richards believes Liverpool showed they are genuine title challengers now, saying that ‘they have a real chance to go all the way this year’.Pat Davison gets reaction from both dressing rooms including player of the match Curtis Jones and Chelsea captain Reece James. Both Arne Slot and Enzo Maresca also give their views on the result and the studio guests reflect on the earlier game on Super Sunday that saw Manchester City score a stoppage-time winner at Wolves.

David Jones presents Saturday Night Football alongside Jamie Redknapp and Theo Walcott who analyse Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth which sees their unbeaten start to the season come to an end. The visitors’ efforts were not helped by William Saliba receiving a red card for denying a goalscoring opportunity in the first half. Redknapp felt Arsenal struggled all game but did praise Andoni Iraola for his tactics in what was a statement win for the Cherries. There is reaction from both dressing rooms with goalscorer Ryan Christie revealing he was delighted to get on the scoresheet after not doing so for a long time. A deflated Declan Rice said that there were no complaints about the result but insisted they cannot keep making mistakes. Mikel Arteta also reflected on the disappointing defeat by saying that two big errors cost him and his players.In the final part, Redknapp and Walcott give their views on the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as the new England manager.

Super Sunday | Man Utd sink to new low as Spurs impress | Neville: A shocking, sobering day for United | Redknapp: They’re at rock bottom!
Kelly Cates presents Super Sunday from Old Trafford and is joined by Jamie Redknapp, Darren Bent and Ashley Young who watched Tottenham comprehensively beat Manchester United 3-0. Gary Neville watched from the gantry as Spurs impressed and outclassed their opponents from the very start but United aided them with a lacklustre performance. Neville labelled the display as a ‘shocking and sobering day’ for the club. Redknapp agreed and believes Man United’s progression is going backwards, going on to say that ‘they’re at rock bottom at the moment’.The hosts' task was made even more difficult when Bruno Fernandes was dismissed for a high challenge on James Maddison minutes before half-time. The Red Devils captain spoke after the match and felt the tackle did not warrant a red card by referee Chris Kavanagh but admitted that he had let his teammates down.There is also reaction from goalscorer Brennan Johnson and player of the match Micky van de Ven, as well as both managers. Ange Postecoglou hailed his players’ performance, saying that they were a ‘joy to watch’. In contrast, Erik ten Hag conceded that Tottenham were the dominant side and his team were poor in possession. The United manager also avoided questions on whether the club is moving forward under his leadership, saying that 'it is not the time to talk about progression after such a defeat'.

Goals from Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah secured the points for the hosts in what was a comfortable victory and Redknapp says it’s been a great start for the new boss but the transition from Jurgen Klopp to Arne Slot will take time and needs patience. There is also reaction from captain Virgil van Dijk who says he is calm about his future despite entering the final year of his contract. Arne Slot gives his postmatch thoughts and praised the defensive performance and felt Brentford could not cope with Liverpool as the game progressed. Thomas Frank also conceded that Liverpool were the better team and deserved the win.There was controversy in the earlier game between Bournemouth and Newcastle as Dango Ouattara’s injury-time winner was ruled out for handball and Carra labeled the decision as ‘terrible’ saying that there is no way the VAR can factually determine it comes off Ouattara’s arm.

Kelly Cates presents Super Sunday from St. James' Park alongside Jamie Carragher, Shay Given, and Andros Townsend, and they discussed and analysed the major talking points from Liverpool's dramatic 2-1 win against Newcastle which was delivered by two late goals from substitute Darwin Nunez.The visitors' victory was made even more impressive as they played the majority of the game with ten players after Virgil Van Dijk was dismissed shortly after Anthony Gordon gave the hosts the lead. Carragher labelled the victory as one of Jurgen Klopp’s best victories as a manager. Van Dijk’s red card wasn’t the only moment of controversy as Trent Alexander-Arnold was involved in two separate incidents early in the first half but avoided a second yellow card. Both Carra and Given agreed that the full-back should have been sent off.Carragher also said Liverpool can challenge Manchester City this season and be their biggest rivals again but they need to strengthen their squad before the transfer window closes on Friday. Speaking with Pat Davison after the match, Newcastle boss Eddie Howe felt the match could have been more comfortable had his players been more ruthless in front of goal, whilst Jurgen Klopp said that the result was even harder than their famous 4-0 home win over Barcelona in 2019, that saw them overturn a three-goal deficit on aggregate to reach the Champions League final.

The trio also reflect on Arsenal’s stuttering end to the season and Manchester City’s relentless recent form which ultimately secured them the title.Adams feels a contributing factor to Arsenal’s recent demise is the lack of depth in the squad compared to their rivals, Manchester City. Carragher believes the Gunners blew their best chance at winning the Premier League and also pointed to a lack of quality alternatives in the squad compared with their starting eleven.Steve Cooper gives his reaction to Kelly, Tony, Michael and Jamie and found it difficult to describe his emotions at the time, but said that remaining in the Premier League allows the club to keep building and growing. Mikel Arteta congratulated Manchester City on securing the Premier League during his post-match interview, but admitted it was a really sad day for the club. Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis also speaks with Pat Davison and said that keeping faith with Steve Cooper was a very wise decision.
