Secretive as ever, not much is known about the new feature and Netflix are remaining tight lipped about when it might drop. A quickly deleted Twitter post reckons Black Mirror: Bandersnatch could be dropping onto the streaming site shortly. Is it an 1980's video game themed outing for Charlie Brooker's anthology series? San Junipero with Wes actor Gavin Stenhouse

Yes, it's San Junipero! The neon-lit 80s tale of two women falling in love that is not - of course - all that it seems. Actor Gavin Stenhouse (@gavinstenhouse) who plays lovelorn Wes, joins the pod to talk about working on the most beloved (and surprising) of Black Mirror instalments. He was also there with the cast, Charlie Brooker and co when they won the series' first two Emmy awards - and surely not its last.Journalist Harriet Flook (@harrietkhark) also returns to the pod to analyse her favourite episode. That's a wrap on Black Mirror Cracked - at least for now. Thanks to everyone who spared some time to guest or co-host, and thank YOU for listening! We've loved hearing from you, making the pod and falling way down deep into the Black Mirror rabbit hole. White Christmas with actor Rasmus Hardiker

The episode known as 'the Jon Hamm one' before its much-anticipated debut in December 2014, White Christmas is a collection of Black Mirror lasts and firsts. It's the last of the Channel 4 series, going out well before the news that Netflix would pick up the show. It's the first episode to have a huge American star at its centre; to introduce cookies; and to have a three-part story structure.Joining the pod to discuss his time working on set is actor Rasmus Hardiker (@RasmusHardiker), who played Harry in the first story. Poor Harry, he just wanted a date... what he got was a lot more... final. Ras tells us all about what it was like to film that iconic last scene.Showbiz journalist Vicki Newman (@Vicki_Mirror) returns to the pod to analyse the episode that British audiences feared would be the last we'd see of Black Mirror. Thankfully, we were wrong..!--Welcome to Black Mirror Cracked - the podcast for all your Black Mirror needs. We alternate between episode analysis and interviews with Black Mirror cast and crew, with a new podcast released every week. For more Black Mirror stuff, join the conversation in the Facebook group, follow us @BlackMirrorCrrr and have a read of mirror.co.uk/blackmirrorThanks for listening!Podcasts produced by Daniel Jackson (@Danoogie) For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices. Black Museum's Aldis Hodge wants a puppy for Carrie

Aldis Hodge (@AldisHodge) joins the podcast to talk about Jack, Carrie, That Monkey and all things Black Museum. A Black Mirror fan before he was sent the script, Hodge jumped at the chance to be part of the show. There's a light-hearted way to look at the episode: Rolo Haynes's ridiculous theatricality, Jack's new girlfriend pinning the monkey up against the wall, "our hands" [groan]. Black Museum also tackles racial politics in Trump's America: a tough subject, but an absolutely necessary one. Just look at how this week's airwaves have been dominated by Childish Gambino's 'This is America' video."The lack of understanding the pain that you're causing with the weapon you're causing it with - only to gain more for yourself personally - is exactly indicative of Rolo Haynes," Hodge says. It also sounds like how a historian might one day sum up our grimly regressive era. --Welcome to Black Mirror Cracked - the podcast for all your Black Mirror needs. Black Musuem's Daniel Lapaine won't apologise for the orgasms

Daniel Lapaine brings 'La Pain' to this episode of the pod for an exclusive - and raucous - interview about his work on Black Mirror. Lapaine - who shot to fame as a dreamy swimmer in 1994 Australian comedy Muriel's Wedding - has a very special place in the Black Mirror universe. He's in not just one, but two episodes. He makes a cameo appearance at the start of Season 1's The Entire History of You, on the interview panel sizing up Liam (Toby Kebbell). He returns to the show to take the lead in the first story of Black Museum, The Pain Addict, based on a short story by magician Penn Jillette. It's a performance that only works if the actor throws himself fully in - and Lapaine does, orgasm noises at a hospital bedside and all. Well, if Rolo Haynes (Douglas Hodge, who's been interviewed on the podcast) was okay with it, we're going to have to be too. Listen to our analysis of Black Museum. --For more Black Mirror stuff, follow our Twitter @BlackMirrorCrrr, join the conversation in our Facebook group or read more at mirror.co.uk/blackmirror Thanks for listening! It's the gamer one! With Charlie Brooker's background as a video games journalist, it was only a matter of time before we got the horror gaming episode.Wyatt Russell plays Cooper Redfield, a name that'll sound eerily familiar to old-school gamers. To do the episode justice, we've got Daily Mirror gaming experts JC Suttun (@HandleMaverick) and James Ide (@Jymography) in the studio to chase all the many, many gaming references in the episode, look at the how horror games have been covered in the media and unpick the Inception-like layers of *that* ending. You'll have heard James on The Entire History of You and Men Against Fire podcasts for good reason - they're all about technology that changes our perceptions.Scariest episode of Black Mirror? Computer games, warfare, skull implants, a rapidly-thinning line between dreams and reality, plus... are those zombies?!Season 3's Men Against Fire could not be more relevant today, with its exploration of how propaganda made real can help soldiers carry out their duties to kill. Shut Up And Dance

Journalists Jo-Anne Rowney and Kyle O'Sullivan carry on from their discussion of White Bear to analyse Season 3's Shut Up and Dance. The episodes both drill down into crime, punishment and vigilante justice. They also toy with the audience, using our natural human need to identify with the protagonist against us. Be Right Back

A recurring theme among all the actors interviewed for this podcast is a deep love for the acting masterclass that is Be Right Back.Hayley Atwell (Martha) and Domhnall Gleeson (Ash) play out the saddest, most delicate two-hander in the middle of a rural nowhere.Martha gets what everyone broken by sharp new grief desperately wants: the loved one resurrected.Technology steps in to make that not quite happen, and the result is a perfect mix of joy and horror. The episode shares a director, Owen Harris, with Season 4's double-Emmy-winning San Junipero, and you can tell.Black Mirror at its finest? The Entire History of You's Rhashan Stone on the Peep Show POV

Rhashan Stone, who plays Jeff in The Entire History of You, calls Season 1's finale "Black Mirror before it was Black Mirror."He has a point: it's the first episode to feature a cranial implant and future tech that undoes a pair of lives. It's the only episode written by Peep Show co-creator Jesse Armstrong, and he brings the point-of-view camera technique over to this episode of Black Mirror with him.Jeff is the first character to show the audience just how deep into a past experience the characters can go, with recollections that they can (but probably shouldn't) revisit any time:"This is a 5-star suite! I paid good money to have perfect details! Now? I've got that sh***y carpet. For the rest of my life."Little do any of them realise just how far Liam (Toby Kebbell) will fall down the rabbit hole of memory.Read our analysis of The Entire History of You here.--Welcome to Black Mirror Cracked - the podcast for all your Black Mirror needs. We alternate between episode analysis and interviews with Black Mirror cast and crew, with a new podcast released every week. For more Black Mirror stuff, join the conversation in the Facebook group, follow us @BlackMirrorCrrr and have a read of mirror.co.uk/blackmirrorThanks for listening!Host: Suchandrika Chakrabarti (@SuchandrikaC)Podcasts produced by Daniel Jackson (@Danoogie) For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices. The Entire History of You

Peep Show's Jesse Armstrong (@jessearmstrong1) has the sole writing credit on this episode, and he brings the point-of-view camera technique with him.The Entire History of You explores a world where everyone's memories are recorded and available for public viewing.Photographer James Ide (@Jymography) joins the podcast with an illuminating John Berger quote:"The camera relieves us of the burden of memory; it surveys us like a god, and it surveys for us.Yet no other god has been so cynical, for the camera records in order to forget."It's the first episode where technology is embedded into people.Still, it remains capable of betraying them, given a determined enough interrogator, and a surprising secret.--Welcome to Black Mirror Cracked - the podcast for all your Black Mirror needs. We alternate between episode analysis and interviews with Black Mirror cast and crew, with a new podcast released every Wednesday morning (GMT).For more Black Mirror stuff, join the conversation in the Facebook group, follow us @BlackMirrorCrrr and have a read of mirror.co.uk/blackmirrorThanks for listening!Host: Suchandrika Chakrabarti (@SuchandrikaC)Podcasts produced by Daniel Jackson (@Danoogie) For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices. The National Anthem

Before Black Mirror became the phenomenon we know it as today, The National Anthem was touted as a Charlie Brooker show about the Prime Minister having to do something humiliating with a pig.How far the show has come, you might think - but lots of Black Mirror's classic themes are in this surprisingly heartbreaking episode, as guest James Rodger (@jamesdrodger), Birmingham Live's resident Season 1 super-fan, helps explain. There's the impact of technology on ages-old institutions, seen most obviously when YouTube videos keep scooping major broadcasters. There's a bad guy who's not all he seems - but no clear-cut good guys. There's a relationship unravelled, unable to stay fully intact when held up to public scrutiny.Let's head back to December 2011 and take another look at Black Mirror's maiden voyage…--Welcome to Black Mirror Cracked - the podcast for all your Black Mirror needs. The Waldo Moment

It's not really a fan favourite, but @MirrorTech's Jeff Parsons (@jparsons989) and @MirrorPolitics' Mikey Smith (@mikeysmith) like it, so this week they've joined the podcast to tell you why The Waldo Moment matters.A cartoon figure who says that politicians are rubbish (but runs for office alongside them), that the political system is rubbish (but competes for power within it) and is inexplicably popular with large swathes of the public - it's no wonder that people see the rise of President Donald Trump foretold in this episode.Looking to the future, does the growing influence of the tech sector over all of our lives mean that a Mark Zuckerberg run for office will one day be dominating our newsfeeds? Or at least the Animoji version of him??--Welcome to Black Mirror Cracked - your podcast for all things Black Mirror. We alternate between episode analysis and interviews with Black Mirror cast and crew, with a new podcast released every Friday morning (GMT).For more Black Mirror stuff, join the conversation in the Facebook group, follow us @BlackMirrorCrrr and have a read of mirror.co.uk/blackmirrorThanks for listening!Host: Suchandrika Chakrabarti (@SuchandrikaC)Podcasts produced by Daniel Jackson (@Danoogie) For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices.
