Research for Death Valley, Hawaii and Azores

How should I title these podcast episodes?
Gotta put my podcast on YouTube
Film myself answering questions and reacting to community
Serves as a form of education
Title and thumbnail need to focus in on one topic tho

Would drive me crazy to not put it on the main channel tho. I’ve watched videos with just people talking tho. As long as the hook is interesting and they deliver the answer I watch

I feel the need for more dialog between you and I

What feedback do you have on the podcast in general? Should I accept feedback in the form of voicemails? Would comments on YouTube work well for feedback?

Should I spend time making educational content?

I feel like mini tutorials on TikTok would work well. Basically break a full workshop into small chapters. Answer questions that people might Google.

People still think I’m shooting iPhone only

Tired of getting every kind of feedback on my work… talk less, talk more, more social, stop including friends, more vlogs, don’t vlog

Wish I had fellow creators to talk through my problems and projects. Most of the creators that I call friends don’t really reciprocate my attempts to connect.

Need help finding interesting places to go and hike

Doing sponsorship differently.
Trying to negotiate with better brands on larger campaigns. Basically trying harder.
Have cancelled the last few integrations

Where should I hike in 2024?
Also kinda don’t want to ask
I always seem to question how important community and feedback actually is.

Should I be putting podcast episodes on YouTube?

YouTube shorts becoming more important
What shorts can I make on a trip?

General feelings of loneliness and sadness

Researched Sam Sulek’s channel

Hotel in Nepal

Build a website to gather interest in group hiking trips
My own hikes as well as selling other people's hikes

Silent hiking in New Zealand
New Zealand vlog
Hiking Drone montage video
Favorite hikes tier list
Family blog baby announcement

There is so much that I could do and make great money from but I just don’t care
Low incentives
Sponsorships
Merch
Video ideas

Why has this changed over time?
I don’t care what people think

Go on the trip and make the big video just to get the perfect clip
Everything is for making clips because that's where discoverablity is
Value in the form of user acquisition
Doesn't make money

Posting audio only to spotify
Creating a new YouTube channel for Podcast videos
Just posting podcast videos to my channel but don't call them podcast episodes

Upload full horizontal videos to tiktok

Factorio Space exploration video on gaming channel

Podcast that speaks directly to the audience. Private phone call

Ambient drone footage

Taking down the 10 hour comp video

Really want to start a new YouTube channel for long form silent bakery videos

What shorts did editor send and I not upload

Something about Julien2 makes me still interested in trying it out

Why do I feel so unfulfilled?
I need help
I need collaboration
I need someone to bounce ideas off

Need to keep a list of videos to make
Thumbnail and title grid

Maybe I should just vlog on IG stories again
Pewdiepie’s japan vlogs makes me want to make my own version of “home movies”

Update After New Zealand

Solo update podcast episode about past projects, current focus and future plans. Consuming feed based social media like TikTok, Instagram, Reddit and News doesn’t make me feel good. Content formats. Put guides and updates behind paywall? What do people actually find valuable with my content? Satisfying subscribers vs algorithm. Artist vs creator. Product vs art. Trying to make NYC walking video. Membership Q&A. New Zealand trip

Solo update episode from my hotel room in LA. Updates about projects, thoughts after Madeira/Cyprus, why we're moving back to NYC from Denver and general worries about making travel content these days. https://linktr.ee/kraig

Moving back to New York City

Thoughts on the last few days of traveling and shooting on Madeira Island. Why does traveling alone feel weird now? Should I focus more on thru-hiking like a dirty nomad or should I embrace the luxury lol. What I plan on editing and uploading to YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. Flying to Cyprus to do it all over again starting tomorrow. Wish me luck on this all expense paid trip haha what's wrong with me.
