The Count of St. Germain made many boastful claims.  He said he was the son of a Transylvanian Prince.  He said he was 300 years old and had learned the secret to immortality.  Some claimed he was Francis Bacon.  Others said he wrote all of Shakespeare's plays.  He has been seen by people throughout the ages and is said to have greatly influenced the Theosophist religion.
