New To You: Julie's Fave Pick from 2012

New To You: Julie's Fave Pick from 2012

By Mudbath Productions

Julie picked this favorite episode from 2012 because she loves hearing Sheila and Monica. Ask Sheila any question about her Oscar picks and her answer is Ryan Gosling, despite the fact that he is not nominated for anything. Oh, well. Ask Julie about her Oscar picks and the answer is pretty much "Please. Anyone but The Artist!." Here's Julie's pitch: "It is Oscar time 2012 and Sheila has an excellent Entertaining Sheila report direct from her Cozy Couch. Monica and Liz have their own picks and pans and Oscar-watching strategies for the big night. As usual, I’m a beat behind on all things Hollywood but I did manage to get face-to-face with Adam Levine at Mardi Gras. I also have an excellent business proposition for Liz. I suggest we launch an alternative to the Apple Store that's less intimidating. Fewer nerds and geniuses please! You know, it still sounds good to me in 2017. And all the sisters love the listener idea of holding a Carry-On Coat Contest. You'll just have to listen to understand. There is excitement is in the air on this podcast."   Also, Liz recommends an audiobook in the spirit of the Satellite Sisterhood. It's Mindy Kaling's Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?  For great Satellite Sisters gifts, visit our online shop, go here.  To subscribe to Satellite Sisters on Apple Podcasts, click here.  To subscribe to Satellite Sisters on Stitcher, click here.
