About Sarah Woodard...
I was conscious of my journey very early in life. Although I was raised Jewish, my mother was drawn to Christianity just before I was born. Both belief systems are beautiful and have a lot to offer, but both left me feeling like there had to be more.
As a child, I basically asked a lot of questions and got answers that didn’t satisfy my curiosity. Somewhere along the line in school I was introduced to Native American cultures and the concept of a medicine man or shaman. Something about that really spoke to me, but I didn’t have a way to pursue it, so I set it aside.
In college, I began exploring Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism), but it didn’t speak to me. I was introduced to yoga and meditation and did enjoy that, but still had this lingering “there’s got to be more” feeling.
Many years and life changes later, I discovered Reiki. This beautiful energy practice was the beginning of bridging my spiritual gap. While I still felt like there had to be more, I also felt like I could see the path unfolding before me.
At some point, I discovered oracle cards and discovered my guides spoke to me through them. The more I worked them and did readings for other people, the more I realized I’m a vessel and the cards are truly communication from spirit.
It was during a card reading for someone else that the concept of shamanism came back to me, through her. Her own intuition prompted her to ask me if I’d ever thought about it and encourage me to pursue that area.
It was like coming home!
Truly – only it was to a home I’d only ever imagined existed. In meeting my spirit guides and truly learning to trust and work with them in all aspects of my life, everything transformed. My self-confidence grew, my life purpose became clear, and my understanding of – and compassion for – others manifested in ways I’d have never imagined.
