8. Role Models

8. Role Models

By BBC Radio 4

What qualities should we be looking for in a role model? How do we square someone’s admirable qualities with their flaws? Can it be humanly possible for Dave Grohl to be as nice as he seems? Join Mae, Bisha, Ned and Steve who will try to figure it all out. This week, Mae reveals why she spent hours in the rain waiting for Eddie Izzard, Bisha investigates the role of luck in success and Ned meets his very own role model (albeit over Skype). One of the brains behind (very cool) music platform Boiler Room, Gabriel Szatan, tries to help solve your dilemmas and Steve Ali puts everything into perspective, as always. Co-created by Deborah Frances-White for The Spontaneity Shop and BBC Radio 4.

Produced by Al Riddell
