Munira Mahmud left from her flat with their two young children, her husband and his elderly father. She described the last phone call she had with a close friend stuck on the 23rd floor.

Nadia Jafari told of how she was separated from her 82-year-old father as they tried to escape the fire in a smoke-filled lift.
