Rich Spotlight: David Cone Has always loved participating regardless of what it is but football was his first passion Wants to compete against the best and that’s why he wanted to attend Statesboro High School instead of the private school in Statesboro, GA Helped Statesboro High win the Georgia state football championship his senior season after coming up short previous years Signed with the University of Michigan with head coach Lloyd Carr and decided to stay at the school even though he knew he wouldn’t get a chance to start once new head coach Rich Rodriguez was hired Ohio St./Michigan rivalry is unlike any other and there’s a deep hatred but it’s centered on respect Music has always been a big part of his life and he taught himself how to play the guitar watching YouTube videos Creating films and telling stories is another passion and after winning a film festival contest and getting a scholarship for film school in Atlanta he knew he wanted to pursue film directing Released first single “So Close” in December 2017 and first album “Welcome Home” in February 2018 Sports helped develop and establish discipline in his life as well as understanding the importance of delayed gratification Words of Wisdom from David Cone: “What you want in life can be out there but it takes a level of work and discipline that’s unknown to mankind and that gets rewarded on the backend.”Social Media:
