The Badass Ladies our joined by TV presenter Hayley Sparkes who is sharing her journey dealing with Auto - immune disease, Ulcerative colitis, since the age of 7.


She talks about the anxiety she dealt with as a teen and the affect it had on so many aspects of her life before she had surgery aged 14. 


Now having had lived with a colostomy bag and further surgery Hayley says this changed her life and even as a teenager gave her a new lease of life an appreciation for the little things.


Harriet is amazed by her openness on such a sensitive topic but Hayley says that she is so willing to kick the embarrassment around Ulcerative colitis and make people suffering with it more positive.


And actress Louise Jameson  talks to Harriet, Emma and Natalie about the new play she is starring in currently, Vincent River. 


The show is about hate crime which is just as much of an issue in todays culture as it was 20 years ago when the script was written, Louise explains.


She about talks the Intimacy of the theatre that she is performing in and the dynamic this has on the relationship with the audience.


The ladies discuss female representation especially over a certain age and how this is improving with the roles we are seeing in new TV programmes. And we hear what Louise still wants to do with her career going forward at the age of 68.
