The Blues will round their stay in Switzerland with a friendly against Monaco on Friday. But before that we have the latest pre-season tour diary from our Everton FC correspondent Phil Kirkbride, who gets us underway with a word of warning for any supporters planning to travel to the picturesque Alpine village of Verbier for the match... the beer is pricey. Now Phil assures us he's not been handing over £8 for a pint (!) himself, and we tend to believe him given some of the interviews he's had to prep for and conduct while on reporting duty - not least his sitdown with Blues boss Marco Silva. Phil goes over some of the highlights from that, including the search for a right-back, and Idrissa Gueye's future, as well as reacting to the news that another youngster has gone out on loan. And before Phil signs off, there's also time for a brilliant anecdote about how he ended up having to run halfway down a mountain after taking an unexpected phone call. Now after all that, he did deserve a pint. Enjoy. For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
