Can I use my HSA (Health Savings Account) to pay for my mother’s nursing home bills? My In-laws are not saving for retirement and expect my husband and me to support them if they need it. What should I do? I am retired with a good retirement income and I help other family members, but I want to buy my daughter a house, how can I save for that? My mother is unemployed, living on what’s left of her 401(k) and won’t get a new job, even though she is healthy enough to.  Should I support her financially?
