Another note on starting out on a budget… There are initiatives like "Back her business" for female entrepreneurs by Natwest, Natwest accelerator for start-ups and the Virgin start-up funds all three are fantastic resources for those who want to start a business but need an injection of cash and don't want to go down the investor route or dip into savings.
