Confessions of a Modern Parent
Is it all bad? Are there positives to the Covid-19 lockdown? What might change for good?
Friday, 17 April
We've all been home for the best part of a month. What once seemed very alien is now becoming more normal.
Sure, popping to the shops is a military procedure, but inside our homes now some time has past, people are beginning to notice that life inside isn't all bad.
From the massive shift in pace, life pressure and the relentless cycle of capitalist earning and spending, what are we learning now our previous routines have been disrupted?
Some appreciate their family more, some are exercising more.
Whatever we are all doing to fill our days, it's likely that during lockdown you've had more time to yourself and started doing different things with your time.
So what are the positives of lockdown? What silver lining can be found?
And will elements of this changed routine actually be desirable after the pandemic? Will the way we live change?
Nadia and Mark look at their altered reality during lockdown to find the positive opportunities within. More time with family, and more time to discover past-times they never had a spare moment for in the past.
What parts of their new-normal do they hope to keep? And what do their listeners think?
Find out in this episode of Confessions Of A Modern Parent.
And they take questions and suggestions from listeners on their experiences in parenting roles.
