The Queen acceded to the throne 68 years ago today, aged just 25, after the death of her father, King George VI.
This week she returned to work with the opening of a pumping station and a visit to an RAF base.
William and Kate have had a busy week from the Bafta red carpet to Wales and table football, while Prince Charles has been introduced to TK Maxx, and faced more scrutiny of his travel, while the Sussexes remain in Canada.
