As a retailer, Amazon sells brand name products as well as some of its own products. But it's also a marketplace, meaning it allows third parties to sell goods on their site, too. We report exclusively that Amazon employees have been using data from those third-party sellers to develop their own, Amazon-brand products. It's a practice Amazon has publicly denied for years.
