Everton were finally dealt a slice of good news on Wednesday as Leighton Baines was offered a new one-year contract at Goodison Park. The iconic defender has been brilliant when stepping into the side this term so this might not have come as a surprise, but it's certainly a welcome boost to supporters. This is, of course, after another injury was confirmed recently, with Yerry Mina picking up a thigh issue in training.
