Sonny is really testing us when it comes to sleep. He is delaying bedtime and waking up way too early. We needed major help! Timmy and I had a Zoom call with our sleep expert, Alanna McGinn, for some advice and tools. Yes, having a Sleep Expert may sound nuts, but you guys, sleep is EVERYTHING! If we utilize experts for our mental and physical, why shouldn’t we for something we do for half of our lives?? That is a rhetorical question.  Alanna is the Founder and Sleep Consultant of Good Night Sleep Site, Parent Prep Educator, Stress Management Coach, Director for the International Association of Child Sleep Consultants (IACSC), and serves on the faculty of the Family Sleep Institute. She has helped us sleep train Sonny since he was born and is a true savior. Everything she tells us to do works. We stick to her rules and Sonny adjusts so naturally. It’s actually really crazy.
