MPs returned to Parliament this week as the UK prepares for a potential second wave of Covid-19.

Among other issues facing the country right now, we have the on-going Brexit negotiations with the EU as the end of the transition period draws ever closer.

But what about the Union? Is the United Kingdom fit for purpose?

On the Sky News Daily podcast, our deputy political editor Sam Coates takes a closer look at the challenges and questions being asked following the global health pandemic.

He is joined by Laura McAllister, columnist for Wales Online along with Sam McBride, political editor of the Belfast News Letter and Scottish political editor at The Times, Kieran Andrews.

Plus, Scottish voter Patricia Bateman chats to Sam about her hopes for an independent Scotland.
