What a Tour, but cycling’s attempt at anti-racism solidarity... pathetic

By Eurosport

Bradley Wiggins was blunt in his assessment of cycling’s attempted show of solidarity with anti-racism sentiments at the start of the final stage of the Tour de France: pathetic. The 2012 Tour de France winner feels that cycling missed its opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the conversation, and does not hold out much hope for more activism within the sport.

Elsewhere, there is warm praise for Sam Bennett and Tadej Pogacar, and a reminder that the 2020 UCI Road World Championships next is weekend.
