By Badass Women’s Hour

How do you cope with grief in 2020? Why are prisons filling with women? And how is the non-profit "Black Girls Hike" impacting the great outdoors?

This week, Harriet welcomes author and journalist Catherine Meyer to discuss her new book "Good Grief", inspired by her personal experience of loss during the unprecedented time of COVID19. Rhiane Fatinikun dives into Black Girls Hike, a social media storm that’s turned into a non-profit that’s focused on improving diversity, learning, education around the great outdoors for people of colour. Olivia Rope, executive director of Penal Reform International, wraps things up with a compelling discussion on the global rise of female prisoners.
