Doug Pederson claims he was “playing to win” on Sunday Night Football, which couldn’t be further from the truth. In his post-game press conference, the Philadelphia Eagles coach addressed whether he tanked on purpose, discussed his current relationship with quarterback Carson Wentz, and speculated on whether Jim Schwartz will return to the NFL next season. Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins got stomped by the Buffalo Bills on Sunday and head coach Brian Flores made a point to place blame on the entire team and not just his young quarterback, but the team still needs to evaluate all available quarterbacks in the 2021 NFL draft. The Chicago Bears are in the playoffs despite losing to the Green Bay Packers, the Arizona Cardinals missed the playoffs after Kyler Murray got injured, and “Black Monday” is taking shape as losing teams terminate their contracts with head coaches.
