Life Goals with Theo Delaney - Cass Pennant

Life Goals with Theo Delaney - Cass Pennant

By 11-29 Media

Theo Delaney has a fascinating, funny and poignant conversation with Cass Pennant the British born independent filmmaker whose own life story - that of a Barnados boy who became an infamous football hooligan with West Ham’s ICF before turning his back on violence - was turned into the British cult film ‘Cass’ directed by John S Baird of 'Stan & Ollie' fame. Cass co-produced the award-winning thriller 'Guvnors'. His documentary 'Casuals' was a 2016 Netflix release and his latest short film, Oscar-entry 'Beverley', has won 36 festival prizes. He has written many books including his latest release 'The Boy Who Said Nothing' and he is the host of the excellent podcast 'A Casual Chat With Cass'. Goalscorers include Pele, Best, Brooking and Di Canio and Cass explains the history of football violence, recalls being guest of honour at the Lazio Ultras and the Barcelona Hammers and ruining the Cup Final for his son and every other West Ham fan.
