Who is Noel Bagwell?

Noel is an attorney, author, thought leader, and influencer.

He owns ExecutiveLP®, a niche legal practice based in Nashville, TN.

ExecutiveLP® provides preventive legal services to U.S. small businesses. Using what he calls the “Five Good Legal ‘E’s,” he helps businesses increase their value, lower stress for decision-makers, and reduce legal risk. As co-host of The Honest Lawyer Podcast™ Noel and his co-host, Bradley Stephens, produced three seasons of fun, informative content.

He has also written a book — How to Structure Your Business for Success — to help start-ups understand how to approach their unique legal challenges. He has written hundreds of blog articles, as well as articles for publications such as the Nashville Bar Journal.

An accomplished public speaker, Noel has volunteered hundreds of hours of pro bono legal teaching service to Boots to Business, an SBA program and part of the U.S. Dept. of Defense’s Transition Assistance Program. Through Boots to Business, Noel has taught thousands of veteran entrepreneurs on topics such as business fundamentals, intellectual property, contracts, and more.

Noel has also taught hundreds of attorneys in paid CLE programs offered by half a dozen or so different companies.

Noel has also won numerous awards, such as the TN Supreme Court’s Attorney for Justice award (2016, 2017, and 2019) and the Clarksville, TN Mayor’s Certificate for “servant leadership, ongoing sacrifice, and commitment to collaboration and inclusion within our small business community.” Under his leadership, ExecutiveLP® has been nominated for multiple BBB Torch Awards for ethical business practices.

Noel serves as the National Center for Preventive Law’s leader for Start-ups and Small Businesses. He also serves on the Editorial Committee of the Nashville Bar Journal.
