The Epilogue Show: Mental Health Awareness Week

By Self Care Club

Approximately one in four people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year. Mental Health Awareness Week aims to get people talking about their mental health and reduce the stigma that can stop people from asking for help. On today’s show, Lauren and Nicole bring insight from you, our wonderful listeners, on what has helped you with your own mental health journey, plus an interview with our resident therapist, Kate Medlin. The ladies discuss how to parent through mental health, help loved ones who may be struggling, and prioritise ourselves when we really need to. All that, and how Nicole’s puppy weeing on the bed was the straw that broke the camel’s back.If you like what we do here and want to be part of the club, why not follow us on Twitter and Instagram @SelfCareClubPod.
