Summer Slash: The Greasy Strangler. Horror Movie Reactions.

Here we go again.

When I got to the credits at the end of The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It, all I could think of was the verdict played out; I was imagining the awkward moments the real court case must have had when the judge read out the reduced sentence.  Did the judge just say, “well, we can’t agree that the Devil made you do it, but we can agree maybe he suggested you do it. Then, you did it anyway, so manslaughter.”

An Old Dude has an obsession with grease and he strangles his friends.  He competes with his son for a woman’s affections.  Eventually, the Greasy Strangler brings the son into the family business in more ways than one.

Our favorite of many twisted scenes is how the hot dog vendor is dispatched.

Overall, we rate this one a SCREAM NOW out of our special horror movie ranking system of Scream Now, Scream Later, or Scream Never.

Our fan Scott wants to know how we would make the next Freddy movie if we got our hands on A Nightmare On Elm Street.  3 of us develop ideas for a prequel.
