Karen was 39 years old when she was brutally murdered in her home in Decatur Alabama in 1999. She was married to a successful doctor and on the surface they had a great marriage with 3 children. Police pinned the murder on a man named Daniel Wade Moore after he confessed to being in the home during the murder. But the odyssey of Daniel Wade Moore would be a long one with twists and turns that ultimately led to his freedom. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Karen Tipton. The police were so sure that Daniel Wade Moore had committed this extremely brutal murder. Their first conviction win against him went off without a hitch. But, over the years, evidence started to come out that had not been turned over to the defense.
