Russia invades Ukraine: Our correspondent in Kyiv

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has started – with Vladimir Putin warning other countries of “consequences you’ve never had before in your history” if they interfere.

NATO said it was “on a scale and of a type we thought belonged in history”.
