Queen Elizabeth II's Death Sparks Mixed Feelings

In this episode, Umar discusses Queen Elizabeth II's death and how members of the Black community, especially those with roots in countries that were recently ruled by the British empire, felt feelings that were complicated and nuanced. Umar points out that one can recognise and respect that she has passed away but one also doesn't need to minimise what the Queen and the monarchy have stood for in relation to people of colour .
