My Best Friend’s Exorcism takes place in 1988, so in 1988 best friends Abby and Gretchen navigate boys, pop culture and a paranormal force clinging to Gretchen. With help from a mall exorcist, Abby is determined to compel the demon back to the pits of hell -- if it doesn&apost kill Gretchen first. It’s lukewarm and does not embrace going the distance as a horror movie or a comedy and it claims to be both - a horror comedy, if you will. The demon is a throwaway hobgoblin and ruins the book the movie is based on.
Hocus Pocus 2 makes more vacuum jokes, but tries to make you forget all the horrible things the witches do, and it falls flat.
The Munsters remake by Rob Zombie is a well-dressed turd; it looks great but has no substance.
Dangerous Dave makes dangerous jokes that this podcast is another entry into our catalog of cursed podcasts.
Johnny Spoiler spoils everything and he can&apost believe that all three movies were so disappointing.
Jordan Savage keeps the peace as savagely as possible with her positive attitude.
