Cardiff has the biggest British born Somali population in the UK. One of those Somalians was a man named Mahmood Husein Mattan. He had worked as a merchant seaman in the Tiger Bay dockland district of Cardiff. Life wouldn’t pan out well for Mr Mattan as he would later be found guilty of murdering a local businesswoman, But on what grounds?
