last summer, my dad and i spent a month in europe. and before we left for our trip, my dad said, i challenge you to fit everything you need for a month in europe in a carry-on suitcase. at first i was like, there's no way. some people would call me an over packer. but even when i over-pack, i still end up wearing the same outfit the entire trip and half of my suitcase remains untouched. so last summer when my dad said, i dare you to fit everything into a carry-on suitcase, i was unsure because i was so used to the ease of having everything and more that i could possibly need in my suitcase. a month is a long time and a carry-on is small. but although it was challenging, i enjoyed it immensely.
