By Cast Off Productions

Laurence Rickard is best known from BBC sitcom Ghosts where he plays the ghosts Robin the Caveman and Humphrey, the headless ghost. Laurence also co-created and co-writes Ghosts alongside his Horrible Histories group, which is the show they all met working on. He was a principle writer and star of children’s historical sketch show Horrible Histories, which won two National Comedy Awards, four successive BAFTAs and the Prix Jeunesse for the best children's show of the last 50 years. The same team also created the sitcom Yonderland which ran for three series on Sky 1 and the feature film Bill, a comic take on Shakespeare's missing years. Ghosts quickly became the most watched comedy on UK television and they even did a comic relief special featuring Kylie Minogue. The show has spawned an American cast version which is also a hit and a book, The Button House Archives, available now .

Laurence Rickard is guest number 333 on My Time Capsule and chats to Michael Fenton Stevens about the five things he'd like to put in a time capsule; four he’d like to preserve and one he’d like to bury and never have to think about again .
