By Stak

It’s been twenty years since Michelle McManus’ cracking voice - and healthy dose of Scottish charm - won the second series of Pop Idol. To mark such a milestone, Kate sat down with her old friend to look back over it all.

We chat about her incredible journey, reconnecting with the likes of Robbie Williams decades on, and how she’s maintained a sense of perspective regardless of what life’s thrown at her.
