By Alice Liveing

Freya Lewis is a 21 year old student at drama school living in London. When she was 14 she was seriously injured in the Manchester Arena attack at the Ariana Grande concert and her best friend Nell sadly passed away. Suffering 29 separate injuries, she spent 6 weeks in hospital, had almost 20 surgeries and spent 3 months in a wheelchair. In 2020, Freya released a book called ‘What Makes Us Stronger’ that describes her journey throughout May 2017, and how her life and outlook changed overnight. She’s raised £70,000 for the hospital that saved her life and is determined to live life to the fullest and honour the legacy of her best friend. Thank you for all of your support in 2023!
