Women of Science Fiction: Madeleine L’Engle

Madeleine L’Engle (1918 - 2007) was an American writer of fiction, non-fiction, poetry and young adult fiction. Her novel A Wrinkle in Time, published in 1962, won the John Newbery Medal. Many of her books center on science fiction themes like time travel.

These diverse women from across space and time are grouped into easily accessible and engaging monthly themes like Educators, Villains, Indigenous Storytellers, Activists, and many more.  Womanica is hosted by WMN co-founder and award-winning journalist Jenny Kaplan. The bite-sized episodes pack painstakingly researched content into fun, entertaining, and addictive daily adventures.
