If being on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament was a motivator for North Carolina, you couldn’t tell on Saturday afternoon after a disinterested 39 minutes of basketball had the Heels on the verge of a devastating defeat to a team 1-7 in the conference. Seth Trimble’s four straight points at the end of regulation and a strong defensive effort in the waning seconds pushed the game into overtime where Carolina prevailed 102-96. Dewey Burke joined host Tommy Ashley to break down the win.
