Episode 81 - Knights - their origins and survival of the long night

On Today’s cast we begin our coverage of the Knights of 40K. We start with their origins in the Golden age of technology from the early colonists heading out into the galaxy with their STC’s. From there we talk about the Age of Strife separating the colonists from the rest of human civilization, but with a focus on how the Knight worlds survived. We than talk about the throne Mechanicum and the ritual of becoming, focusing on how they change the psyche of the pilots. More importantly, we talk about how this change affect the knight pilots to become better leaders and protectors of their subjects. We then close with a breakdown of the noble culture and knights themselves.
