005 Life is a Slinky with Fab Giovanetti

005 Life is a Slinky with Fab Giovanetti

By Meg Kissack | The Rebel Rousers: Creativity, Inspiration & Dreamchasing

I’m so happy to share with you today’s episode of Couragemakers with Fab Giovanetti.

Fab describes herself as an Italian cheeky monkey who moved to the UK looking to fulfil her never-ending cravings for avocado. She is a Certified Health Coach and the founder of the Health Bloggers Community: platform, events, awards and magazine for people passionate about health and writing.

In this episode, we really go deep into the need for self compassion, reframing the stories we tell ourselves about what other people think of us and what we think of ourselves as well as how learning to ask for help.

In this episode we talk about:

Compassion and self awareness The lessons Fab learned from a really difficult 6 months The need to give ourselves time to feel shit The myth that we can go from zero to 100, or zero to Taylor Swift

This episode is great if you struggle with asking for help, recognising the stories you tell yourself and believing you are enough.

I absolutely love Fab’s sense of humour, and included some our of pre-call chatter at the start so you get to join in with the mayhem!

I really love how Fab is really happy to share her ability to create communities how she’s willing to get really vulnerable in order to help people deal with hard times.

Enjoy the show!

I'm Meg and I'm the host of Couragemakers and founder of That Hummingbird Life. I started this podcast because I wanted to create a platform for passionate and unconventional women to have honest conversations and to share their stories, struggles and dreams. The intention behind this podcast is to inspire and encourage creative and mission-driven women to live a wholehearted life and follow the beat of their drum.

When I'm not recording episodes and making new friends with the wonderful guests, you can find me working on all manners of magic over at That Hummingbird Life, sending free self care checks ins to hundreds of women every Sunday and helping my clients build brands they love as a graphic designer. I'm currently based in London, and getting ready for my round the world adventure with Mr. Meg starting August 2016. Don't worry the podcast isn't going anywhere!
