Doctor Who – A Beginner’s Guide

Doctor Who – A Beginner’s Guide

By Tom Eames and Morgan Jeffery

Our latest episode sees Whovian Morgan teach Tom all about Doctor Who, and where to start watching if you’re a noob. We take in everything from Hartnell to Capaldi, and Daleks to Weeping Angels.

We also pay our respect to Geek TV and film icon Sir Christopher Lee, who recently passed away soon before recording.

It goes without saying that Morgan is a massive Doctor Who fan, and has pretty much made his career in banging on about the feller.

Meanwhile, Tom has never really seen an episode all the way through and doesn’t understand what all the fuss is about. And he calls himself a geek?

So for this episode, Morgan explains just why the show is so good, travelling back and forth through time to give any noobs the ultimate watching order guide.

Morgan also reveals his favourite ever Doctor, and ponders the future of the franchise.

Developments since episode: The obvious one, Jodie Whittaker took over the role of the Doctor from Peter Capaldi in 2017, becoming the first ever female Doctor.
