I wonder if you think you know what the world’s biggest killer is? Smoking, cancer, road accidents? You might be surprised to hear that it is in fact heart disease. According to the World Health Organisation, over 18 million people die from it every single year, that’s over 30% of all global deaths. But how do we know if we are at risk of heart disease, and do we have any control over reducing this risk?
