This episode is all about raising awareness of the specific challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community during lockdown, quarantine and self-isolation as a result of coronavirus and COVID-19.
I’m in conversation with fellow queer coach Isla McLachlan (she/her) where we share our own experiences as well as those of our communities. We talk about the importance of self-care and tuning into what we need more than ever right now and how we&aposre personally navigating through this time. We also discuss being quarantined with a partner of the opposite sex when you know you&aposre gay, going back &aposin the closet&apos because you&aposre in lockdown with people who don&apost understand or accept who you are and how to make missing your loved ones a little bit easier. So, if you’re not sure why it would be any different for an LGBTQ+ person or you’re one of us and you’re looking for a couple of people who get it, then this one&aposs for you.
