As a multiple business owner and entrepreneur best known for property Ellie’s ‘superpower’ is building relationships and in this episode, she explains how everything changed when she started focusing on what she could give other people and connecting from a place of authenticity.

Ellie raised four million in a twelve-month period directly on LinkedIn sharing her authentic self and adding value because ultimately people do business with those they know, like and trust and when you build the right relationships the opportunities and people will come to you.



I switched my focus from what I could get from other people to what I could give other people I focused on getting to know people on a deeper level connecting from a place of authenticity When you are putting yourself out there it’s about sharing your authentic self The posts about behind the scenes stuff and the ups and downs are what really resonant with people People do business with those they know, like and trust With any marketing, you need to reverse engineer and really understand who your customer avatar is Everyone knows that things go wrong, what they want is to know how you deal with the challenges, how are you going to resolve them It’s not what or who you know it’s who knows you because if people don’t know who you are they can’t do business with you Having an online presence becomes your CV and brings many other opportunities You need to achieve a balance between content and a call to action

Nick dropped out of university at the age of 21 and failed spectacularly with his first coaching business, which forced him to take a £16k/yr telesales job.
