What works best at any time is having a plan and you need to have an individual plan for each route There must be continuity in the message from start to finish If you are always looking for the quick win you are always going to be searching for the next thing If you put the time and effort, energy and attention into one campaign working well it can work over a longer period of time Mapping a campaign can identify the part that is not working There are key data points in any campaign Knowing the data and the numbers is a crucial element in any campaign The relationship between sales and marketing is vital in identifying any steps that are not working The standard lead generation campaign no longer works as well as it has previously. Leading with content is successful prior to direct marketing It’s important to test to see what works Either end of the spectrum is unsuccessful you need a combination of both content and direct response marketing The only thing that doesn’t change is getting your message right You need to adapt marketing campaigns with the changing trends and patterns
