Channeling creativity to support our mental wellbeing

By Kate Moryoussef

"Go back to when you were unfettered by the weight of expectations, the weight of 'shoulds'...and judgements...and remember what it felt like to feel in flow."

This week’s guest is Jude Schweppe, a coach for creatives and performers, a writer, actor and co-founder of the Actors' Space in Brighton. She is passionate about the role creativity plays in supporting good mental health and wellbeing.

Jude believes that everyone benefits enormously when they can carve out time for more creative activity and engage with this side of themselves. Not only does this time nourish us emotionally and spiritually but it also supports us in so many other aspects of our lives from work to relationships to parenting.

During this week's episode of The ADHD Women's Wellbeing Podcast, Kate and Jude spoke about

Tuning back into your child-self to help re-discover your creativity as an adult The freedom and relaxation creativity can bringHow ADHD'ers are inherently creative Why we owe it to ourselves to connect to creativity The many different ways creativity can manifest and how it can improve the balance of lifeWhy lack of creativity can starve the ADHD mind
