The podcast is back - welcome solo episode and exclusive workshop clip

By Kate Moryoussef

Re-framing ADHD and taking a more strength-based approach.

In this first solo episode back, Kate shares a snippet from one of her online workshops. This particular workshop focused on Kate's week-long course with Dr Ned Hallowell, a renowned author and psychiatrist specialising in ADHD. His books, such as Driven to Distraction and ADHD 2.0, have led to new learnings and perspective shifts in ADHD.

During this short clip, Kate talks bout how our ADHD resilience, drive, and stubbornness can help us to keep picking ourselves up and persisting in life.

She also talks about our curiosity, imagination, desire for authentic collaborations and connection, as well as our need to seek true fulfilment.

Kate also talks about the positive re-frames that Dr Hallowell encourages us to take, so we can live a life that puts our ADHD strengths in the spotlight. Also, Kate explains what the Default Mode Network (DMN) is and how this recent discovery explains many of the negative thought patterns people with ADHD are susceptible to.
