Trump Booked, Toxic Paper Straws, Hiring Discrimination Suits, NY Begs for Migrant Aid

By Radio America

Hillsdale College Radio General Manager and Radio Free Hillsdale Hour Host Scot Bertram is in for Jim. Today, Scot and Greg discuss a new study showing toxic chemicals are used to repel water in most paper and bamboo straws. They also dive into two curious employment discrimination suits: five current and former Gannett newspaper employees charge the organization with policies that discriminate against white employees. And the Justice Department is suing Elon Musk's SpaceX for not hiring alleged refugees and asylum seekers and only hiring U.S. citizens or legal residents. Finally, they sigh as New York Gov. Kathy Hochul follows the nonsensical lead of Massachusetts and demands federal aid for housing, education, and health care while also urging expedited work authorization. Scot and Greg point out that will only create a bigger stampede of people trying to enter the U.S. illegally.
