At the time of broadcast it was reported that 67 MPs had signed a letter of no-confidence in the House of Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle. He apologised for breaking precedent and allowing MPs to vote on a Labour amendment during what was supposed to be an SNP-led opposition day debate. He apologised and claimed he was doing this to protect and safeguard MPs. Consercative MP Mark Francois and LAbour MP Nick Thomas
