The Postgame: UNC Blitz from Deep Sinks Notre Dame

Notre Dame slipped past Pittsburgh on Tuesday only to run headlong into a three-point blitz from the North Carolina Tar Heels on Wednesday afternoon. Drake Powell started the avalanche just 24 seconds into the game with a corner three. From there it was all Jae’Lyn Withers, the graduate cashing in seven three pointers on the way to a career high 21 points on the day. Elliot Cadeau’s ten assists and Ven-Allen Lubin’s double-double helped the Heels to the easy 76-56 win. Rob Harrington and Tommy Ashley break down the rout and look ahead to Wake Forest.
